Jon's Water Rocket Page(Still under construction)

Rocket, Fins, and the like
My first rocket I made was in 4th grade(now i'm in 7th). It was made of 3 2- liter bottles, plexigals fins, and a recovery system for Science Olympiad competition. We got a participation point. That's how bad the rocket was. But now I have gotten better and if you want my rocket design, here it is:
Launchers
My launcher that I use now is Randy Crawford's design but with a rubber washer and o-ring as a better seal than silicone sealant. If you want to check it out, the links are at the bottom of the page.Another thing you might consider is to buy one online from Pitsco or Bigfoot or to use the Clark Cable Tie Launcher. It is easy, cheap, and good.
Recovery System
The parachute I used I bought from the hobby shop. I used an design so there is a boot, inverted boot, and then the nose cone.
